Ströbel Topdry™ desiccants protect goods that are susceptible to moisture. In accordance to DIN55474, they provide optimal shipping and storage conditions.
Ströbel Topdry™ desiccants have a dust-proof shell that is filled with a natural product known as bentonite.
Bentonite absorbs +- 6 grams of water vapor per desiccant unit at 40% relative humidity, thus actively protecting automotive, steel, drugs, food and other products against corrosion and mould.
Obtaining impeccably dry packaging shouldn’t be left to chance!
Desiccants are sold as so called desiccant units (DU). 1 DU can absorb around 6 grams of water vapor.

To prevent condensation from forming in moisture-resistant packaging, the desiccant bags should be placed in the upper portion of the packaging.
To maximize the protection period, seal the moisture barrier packaging immediately after the desiccant.
In so doing, make sure that only about 70 percent of the air in the moisture-resistant packaging is
